How Does the Nashville Airport Cell Phone Waiting Area Work?
The cell phone lot works very simply. Park for free, watch the flight information screens, and once your passenger has landed and collected their bags, drive to the terminal. We recommend:
- Before leaving home, check your passenger’s flight status and drive to the Nashville Airport Cell Phone Lot.
- Once at the lot, wait for your passenger to land and stay in contact.
- Once your passenger has texted you that they have their bags and are ready, drive to the terminal.
- Follow the signs to Arrivals Level and pick up your passenger.
As there is no shuttle service from the lot, the airport recommends that you time your drive to allow you to arrive at the same time as your passenger. The curbside is only for active loading, and vehicles will cause delays if parked and unattended.
Can You Wait at Nashville Airport Arrivals?
No, you are not allowed to wait at the Arrivals area. This area is for loading only. Once they’ve loaded your luggage and passenger(s), drivers should move off immediately. If you’re not ready when your driver arrives, please wait in the FREE Cell Phone Lot or use the first 30 minutes in the terminal garages. Leaving your vehicle unattended will cause delays and may result in you getting a ticket or your vehicle being towed.
